Buzzing back to the Beehive!

Maria started off her 2024 returning to one of her favorite shows, Beehive: The 60’s Musical! She hoped and dreamed of doing this show again, and her dreams came true at Florida Repertory Theatre. She traveled to Fort Myers for Beehive rehearsals just one day after closing Wonderettes over in Naples. Back to back Florida contracts were a welcome blessing for the warm-weather-loving New Yorker. Reprising her role as Laura/Janis Joplin, rehearsing with a new hive of bees was pure fun. She couldn’t have asked for a better experience at Florida Rep, rocking out day after day to completely sold out crowds!
